3 More Weeks to Go

Hmm, three more weeks, I again will be flying back to Manila. Evaluating my life this past month in Boise has been quite inspiring, refreshing, reassuring, and simply healthy. It's been a sweet month, I would say. I cannot ask for anything more. These past 5 weeks has caused me only to say, "Praise the LORD!" The LORD continually blesses me immensely. He has provided beyond all my needs and has shown me His awesome greatness and steadfast love. My fun, busy days in Boise and continual developing friendships have been a place of refuge. The LORD has allowed me to rest and reflect in His goodness through His sovereignty. I have experienced His guidance and protection, and continually being affirmed to grow in His beauty and strength.

It has been an intense process of growth this past year. A season of a broken heart, an intense refinement of my spirit and will, and a time of sharpening of my mind and soul, all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I am daily being transformed into His image. Oh, praise Jesus, for He alone is the reason why I have joy and a purpose to live. To daily set aside my selfish ambition, and shoulder my cross and follow Him (Mt. 16:24, NLT) To delight and seek Him, and to continually fall in love with His beauty, for Jesus Himself said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Mt. 11:28-30) Oh the goodness only in Jesus, do I have hope and confidence to daily continue on...

Hmmm. That was refreshing to read; maybe rejuvenating would be a better word. Thankyou Caroline.
